The Sentinel is an on-line publication devoted exclusively to stories covering notable events in Silver Valley, the home of the unincorporated California Mojave Desert communities of Daggett, Yermo, Newberry Springs, and Harvard, and events in other areas that significantly affect goings-on in Silver Valley. We hope to expand to a printed version in the future which will obviously depend on the availability of financing for the publication.

Our hope is to keep residents of our valley apprised of monthly events enough to make informed personal decisions.

But we can keep our readers and residents informed only if they keep us informed.

In that spirit we ask that residents, interested parties, and other community groups submit news releases and other pertinent information that can make our publication more completely representative of the goings-on here in our valley.
